What is the length of the YES programme?

YES is a transition programme that is intended to empower and equip individuals with special needs various skill sets before they move onto the next stage of adulthood.

Individual goals are set based on individual’s potentials and ability during their stay at the programme, these goals are reviewed regularly by the trainee, his/her parents/guardians and YES trainers.

While we cannot provide an exact number of years of stay for each trainee as it depends on individual progress and personal goals, it is an imperative goal of YES to plan and prepare for the most suitable exit path for each trainee. Therefore communication between YES and each family is maintained throughout each trainee’s stay at the programme in order to find the best appropriate, long term option for each individual.
