Alice Lee
Alice LeeOverseas Consultant

Alice is the founder of Grow with Me and a Special Education Needs (SEN) Consultant who operates in Asia and New Zealand.

Alice has 20 years of hands-on experience in education, including a decade in the SEN field across Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand, upon completion of Master of Education (Inclusive and Special Education). She specialises as a strategic advisor, manager and developer of programmes for people with SEN.

Alice is one of the founding members of Youth Empowerment Service. As the designer of YES’s two programmes, she managed the operations and facilitated training for both programmes from 2014 until 2020. Alice continues to work as a consultant to Youth Empowerment Service.

Steven Lin
Steven LinSupervisor

Steven is a Registered Social Worker and received the Master degree of Arts in Family Counselling and Family Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been working in Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service since 2015. It is his honour to start the duty of Supervisor of Methodist Study Trust Education Centre and the YES Team in 2022. He hopes YES and CONNECT’s service can facilitate the growth of the young adults with special needs and provide support network to them.

Melody Wong
Melody WongProject Manager
MSocSc (Counselling Psychology)

Melody is a Counselling Psychologist and focuses on empowering young adults with special needs to develop their potential. Committed to emotional management and behavioural functioning facilitation, Melody supports individuals in identifying possible solutions by discovering their strengths and capabilities in their adulthood journeys. Melody’s other focus is career counselling; she helps individuals explore job interests and workplace accommodations and build competence and success.

Melody joined YES in 2017. In the early stage of her career, Melody obtained MappPsy in Diverse Learning needs and worked with students with different educational needs in school and community settings.

Mithisha Ramchandani
Mithisha RamchandaniAssistant Project Manager
M.A. (School and Community Psychology)

Mithisha is passionate about psychology; she has completed her Masters in School and Community Psychology. Her curiosity about why individuals behave in a particular manner never quenches.

Mithisha believes her ability and experience will empower others to become better versions of themselves while helping the community. Her optimism and belief match her desire to guide individuals to reach their goals so that we can all achieve them with the right help. She has also gathered related experience in aiding those with special education needs, and that experience is enriched by applying her learnt academic knowledge in her practice.

Gladys Latade Mamato
Gladys Latade MamatoTraining Officer
MSocSc (Schools and Community Settings)

Gladys received her Master Degree in Psychology in The Education University of Hong Kong. She is passionate about working with children and young adults. She focuses on pursuing advanced knowledge and gaining experiences in special education to provide more professional support and involvement to care for the young adults.

Gladys is empathetic and a nurturing person, which allows her to easily understand and provide comfort and support to others. She always works with her whole heart, and hopes to help young adults to achieve educational goals as well as develop their personal well-being. She believes that there is no single approach that could fit all individuals. Only with appropriate support, all individuals can discover their potential for lifelong achievement.

Selina Wong
Selina WongTraining Officer
M.A. (CUHK), B.Sc. (HKU)

Selina joined YES since February 2021. She studied science, education, psychology, school counselling and guidance, and she is particularly interested in SEN education.

Selina has recently retired from a secondary school teaching post after more than 35 years of service. Throughout her teaching career, she gathered solid experience in counselling and nurturing students with SEN. She believes that actualising one’s potential is an important goal in education, and she looks forward to achieving it in the YES training. She also loves cooking and communicating with others, and she is hoping to share her life experience with the trainees.

Sarahana Khadgi
Sarahana KhadgiTraining Assistant

Sarahana received her Associate Degree in Psychology and has been a part of YES since 2019 as a training assistant. She provides support to the trainees through physical activities and music. Sarahana has always been passionate about social service, especially empowering the youth through education. Her love for kids motivates her to utilize her knowledge gained from her education in psychology to contribute as much as possible to the YES programme.

Kayla Lee
Kayla LeeAssistant Clerical Officer

Kayla assists Steven to take care of administrative tasks of Methodist Study Trust Education Centre and Youth Empowerment Service.  She handles diverse administrative requests and queries and offers help in supporting YES’s daily training.
